Day 19: Northern Lights!?

If you can't beat 'em... or... if you can't see 'em, you go to an observatory to watch 'em, a 5 year in the making, movie about the photographic hunt for the perfect Northern Lights. A 25 minute documentary with stunning photography as you stared at the ceiling in recliners.  Pretty sweet and a nice treat.

Then off to a polar museum describing Roald Amundsen's victorious expeditions to both the north and south poles. Lots of suffering, whaling, polar bear hunting and flag raising. Steve B would have loved it!

The guide used the expression "northernmost" with nearly everything... burger king, university, ski jump... in the world (everything except for the secondmost, northernmost McDonald's).

Should be a relaxing afternoon (ship walking track, gym, reading, trivia... hopefully 1st or 2nd place tonight) then dinner, shows, sunset etc, with a sea day tomorrow.

Great film.
The ship has a huge presence in every small town.
Ski jump... no thanks!
Polar Museum.
Roald!
Whack-a- seal..yuk!
Beautiful flowers 1.

We're heading south towards the Arctic Circle, and will enter the temperate zone tomorrow...a full day cruising the seas!  May you know His presence and blessings...

Beautiful sunset as we head south.
Rejoicing together in God's goodness!

Could stay this light for hours!
