Day 11: Boarding The Apex!

From Stockbridge (to Boston, anybody?  Sweet Baby James), to Southampton... was an easy 45 minute ride and was preceded by some googoo baby time.

Boarding was a snap and our room was ready, all before noon.

I'm pretty sure I'm not a big fan of these "infinity verandas" where instead of being fully outside, a glass window slides down and you sit close to the window... to me, it feels like having a sunroof open rather than a top down convertible....

It's sea day today and tomorrow, so no Norway yet. Here are a few pics from the day:

Jerk chicken was tasty... and the Cellar Master of the entire cruise ship came by to offer this special bottle as an apology.  We had to leave the first Dinner restaurant as they were understaffed and over slammed. Fearful of bad reviews, I think, with no hard feelings on our part, they followed us to the restaurant across the hall and asked them to treat us special. I now have Putra's personal business card that he wants me to use at any of the restaurants to get any wine while on board, within reason. Sounds good to me!
We stumbled into a raffle for a fancy watch and somehow, Peggy was asked by the auctioneer to see if she won... nope!

We had a number of great conversations and while Peggy was chatting with these ladies, I was being asked, by another woman, to help explain the Trinity, the Gospel, why good behavior doesn't get one to Heaven etc. The Spirit was at work and I walked in His power. She was delighted for the Gideon New Testament, and promised she'd be joyfully reading it.  Please pray for Janet, and more opportunities for us to share His love and sacrificial gift of eternal life.

Heading west, we passed by the Isle of Wight and are nearly between Dover and Dunkirk... and soon turning northeast towards Norway.
